Standalone visits show de-hyphenation of India and Pakistan from US foreign policy

The last US President who made a state visit to Pakistan was George W Bush in the year 2006. That visit included India as well.
The next two Presidents, Barack Obama and Donald Trump, did not visit Pakistan and have made standalone trips to India. This clearly indicates a de-hyphenation of India and Pakistan from the US foreign policy. We decipher what this means as Simplified by Jervis Arthur.
