Bengaluru: Union minister for textiles Smriti Irani was in Kolar as part of the campaigning for Lok Sabha elections 2019. In her address, she tore into the Kumaraswamy government for siding with corrupt contractors and staging a public protest. She also took a dig at Kumaraswamy for weeping tears earlier, unable to take the government forward.
