Karnataka: Police officers land in trouble after celebrating rowdy’s birthday in police station

Two police sub-inspectors celebrated the birthday of a rowdy in police station, now both the police officers have been transferred.

Bengaluru: Two sub-inspectors were transferred as they celebrated the birthday of a rowdy in the Vidyaranyapura police station, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The two PSIs were celebrating 25-year-old Abhishek’s birthday, who has now been arrested in a case related to extorting Rs 10,000 from a person claiming that he was a policeman.

Meanwhile, DCP North East Bheemashankar clarified that the birthday celebration incident occurred in Aug 2018 when there were no cases registered against the accused.
