According to historians, Mahabalipuram is the ancient port town in India that was earlier used by the Pallavas to trade with China. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to visit Mahabalipuram between October 11 to 14.
Mahabalipuram: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping's informal summit, Tamil Nadu's ancient port town is getting a makeover to invite the two top leaders cordially.
A lot of work is under progress on the streets of Mahabalipuram. Sniffer dogs have also called to secure the area.
