Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 and its importance
The much needed Data Protection Bill 2019 will be tabled in the Parliament that proposes to regulate the data protection and privacy. The draft bill had stated that any person processing data owes a duty to the data principal to process personal data in a fair and reasonable manner that respects the privacy of the data principal.
The Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 is expected to be tabled in the Parliament to regulate the data protection. The bill would restrict and impose conditions on the cross border transfer of personal data.
