Outlawed CPI(Maoist) group members kill two tribal men in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: A group of outlawed CPI (Maoist) members on Wednesday (July 17) night, killed two tribals in Veeravaram village in Chintapalli mandal, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The deceased are identified as Pangi Sattibabu and Gemilli Bhaskar Rao.

According to reports, a group of Maoists killed the tribal men, after claiming that the victims were working as police informers. In the crime scene, posters with a warning message were put up on the walls reportedly claiming that the attack was to seek revenge as the police officials, who killed Comrades Sarath and Ganapathi of the CPI (Maoist) in 2014.

The posters also mentioned that the police were responsible for the tribal people's death. The Visakhapatnam Police have registered a case in this regard, and further investigation is underway.
