Locked in the cold storage, here’s how Modi, Shah revived NATGRID
Lack of coordination between state and Central departments and between agencies in handling and acting upon Intelligence have caught us unaware many times in the past. With the revival of NATGRID, Prime Minister Modi and home minister Amit Shah seek to up India’s level in terms of intelligence sharing.
The much-needed reform for intelligence in India would take shape on December 31, 2020. The National Intelligence Grid or NATGRID would become operational by the end of next year, the Lok Sabha was informed.
