Kummanam Rajashekaran likely to take on Shashi Tharoor in Thiruvananthapuram
Rajasekharan is likely to be the BJP candidate contesting from Thiruvananthapuram as well as the National Democratic Alliance convenor. And as per the consistent request of the RSS and the BJP, Rajasekharan resigned from the governor's post.
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan reached Kerala's capital Thiruvananthapuram after resigning from the post of Mizoram governor. Rajasekharan was given a warm welcome by the BJP leaders and workers.
As per sources, Rajasekharan will be the BJP candidate contesting from Thiruvananthapuram and is likely to be made the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) convenor. And as per the consistent request of RSS and the BJP, Rajasekharan resigned from the governor's post.
