Kerala floods: Food poisoning in Wayanad relief camp, 45 hospitalised
On the occasion of Bakrid on Monday (August 12), outsiders distributed food in flood relief camps in Kerala. After eating that food, 45 people who were staying in the Panamaram Neervaram school fell sick and were hospitalised
Wayanad: Forty five flood victims who were staying in a relief camp in Panamaram Neervaram school, Wayanad, Kerala, were admitted to Mananthavady district hospital, Wayanad, with symptoms of food poisoning. The patients reportedly said that they were feeling physical discomfort after having food, which outsiders brought to their relief camp.

Sources said as it was Bakrid, in most of the camps food was distributed by people from outside. So food was not prepared in the relief camps.
Meanwhile, the death toll in rain-related incidents in Kerala has reached 87.
