Kashmir: No orders to close schools, don’t pay heed to rumours, says divisional commissioner

The divisional commissioner of Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan issued a clarification that no orders have been issued to close schools in Kashmir. This clarification came after there were rumours that following security concerns, schools have been closed in Kashmir. Even a letter was being circulated that the National Institute of Technology in Kashmir was closed. Basser Ahmed Khan asked people not to pay heed to rumours and to seek clarifications from officers concerned instead of spreading rumours.
