Karnataka: Selfie craze kills man as he gets washed away in falls
A 21-year-old youth Tanush, who was on a tour to Madikeri with his friends and was returning to Bengaluru, met a watery grave as he drowned in the Mookana Mane falls in Sakleshpur, Karnataka while trying to take a selfie.
Hassan: A Bengaluru resident Tanush, 21, was washed away in the strong currents of the Mookana Mane falls when he tried to click a selfie in the background of the falls at Sakleshpur in Karnataka. Tanush was on a tour with his friends and was returning from Madikeri, when, on the way to Dharmasthala temple, they decided to visit the falls. He slipped as he was clicking a selfie and fell into the water and drowned. A case in this regard has been booked at the Yasalur police station.
