Karnataka: More than 50 children danced for rain in drought-hit Tumakuru
Following the belief that children dancing after drinking neem juice will appease the rain God, thousands of devotees in Sira, Tumakuru organised the event where more than 50 children danced and prayed for rains.
Tumakuru: Following the belief that children dancing will bring rains, more than 50 children drank neem juice and danced at Hosahalli, Sira in Tumakuru district. The district is facing drought.
It is believed that children dancing after drinking neem juice will appease the rain god. The children along with organisers offered prayers to Kodikalamma Goddess. Thousands of devotees took part in the religious event.
