Karnataka: Heavy rain claims Kodagu woman's life after tree uprooted
On Thursday (May 30), the residents of Kodagu in Karnataka witnessed heavy rains and gusty winds which claimed a woman's life after a tree collapsed on top of a house, injuring other three from the same family
Madikeri: Ahead of the monsoon season, the people of Karnataka’s Kodagu district witnessed heavy rains and gusty winds on Thursday (May 30) night which claimed a woman's life.
The victim was identified as Rianat (23). The tragic incident took place after a tree collapsed on top of the house in which Rianat and her family members were staying. During the incident, other members of the family too were injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital.
