Karnataka Excise, police seize illicit liquor transported from Goa
The State Excise and Police department seized more than Rs 7 lakh worth illegal liquor which was reportedly transported from Goa to Karwar
Karwar: The Excise and Police department on Friday, seized 2440 litres of illegal liquor costing Rs 7,36,000. The officials seized the illicit liquor from Amadalli village in Karwar, Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters, Excise DC N Manjunath said that the liquor was stored in a warehouse and was going to be distributed to the public in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in exchange for votes.
