Karnataka coalition crisis: Yeddyurappa demands CM Kumaraswamy’s resignation

Karnataka BJP president Yeddyurappa has reiterated that chief minister Kumaraswamy should resign, saying he has no sufficient MLAs to run the Congress-JDS coalition government in the state

Bengaluru: Karnataka BJP president BS Yeddyurappa has hit out against chief minister HD Kumaraswamy for clinging to power, in spite of 17 to 18 MLAs resigning. Yeddyurappa, who is the leader of the opposition in the Assembly, said, “Two independents have also written letters to the Assembly Speaker (Ramesh Kumar) to allot them seats in the opposition ranks. He (Kumaraswamy) should resign and go.”
