Guru Nanak Jayanti: Golden temple and skies light up in celebration
In view of the Guru Nanak Jayanti celebration, the Golden Temple in Amritsar was lit up. While the pathway to the temples were lit up with diyas and candles, the skies were lit up with fireworks.
Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrations were held across India on Tuesday. Fireworks were seen at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Devotees gathered in large numbers and lit diyas and candles.
Nov 12 saw the celebrations of the first Sikh Guru’s 550th birth anniversary and also witnessed the historic opening of the Kartarpur corridor between India and Pakistan for movement of Sikh pilgrims.
