Bengaluru: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted that the country is now reeling under “super emergency” as opposed to the 1975 Emergency. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to people who resisted the Emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
