Forest fire in Gadag destroys several acres of land, pharmaceutical plants
Several pharmaceutical plants were destroyed in raging fire that spread across Gadag's Kappatagudda hills on Sunday evening
Gadag: Close to 60 acres of forest and pharmaceutical plants were destroyed due to a raging fire that broke out at Kappatagudda hills on Sunday evening.
It took several hours for forest officials and firefighters to contain and eventually douse the fire. Forest officials are yet to identify the cause of the inferno and further reports are awaited.
