Enforcement Directorate arrests Franco Mulakkal's aide, 5 others; Rs 10 crore seized
Father Antony Madassery, an aide of former Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal, along with others, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. Officials also seized Rs 10 crore during the arrest.
New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized Rs 10 crore from Father Antony Madassery on Friday night. Enforcement Directorate arrested the catholic priest along with five others including a woman.
ED officials informed reporters that the concerned persons could not submit proper documents for the money found in their possession.
Franco Mulakkal was accused of raping a Kerala nun, and is currently out on bail.
