Cyclone Fani: Olive Ridley sea turtle found dead in Ramanathapuram

Ramanathapuram: In a tragic incident, an Olive Ridley sea turtle was found dead in Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram after it was washed ashore by the massive tides raised by the cyclonic storm "Fani" on Sunday (May 5). According to sources, it is said that the massive waves had injured the turtle and later succumbed to injuries.
Ramanathapuram forest range officials arranged for the turtle's autopsy, and the turtle was later buried on the beach.
