Bengaluru Ponzi scam: ED summons Karnataka minister, seeks details of property sale to IMA

In relation to a property which he sold to I Monetary Advisory, food and civil supplies minister Zameer Ahmed has received summons from the Enforcement Directorate.

Bengaluru: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Zameer Ahmed Khan, a minister in the HD Kumaraswamy cabinet, in the I Monetary Advisory Ponzi scheme, in which the accused Mansoor Khan fled the country, after amassing wealth, by inducing gullible people to invest, promising high returns.

The summons was issued in relation to Zameer’s property in Richmond Town which he sold to Mansoor for Rs 9.36 lakh. Zameer received the summons and told reporters that he would submit details about it, as sought within July 7.
