Andhra Pradesh: TDP leaders protest against YSRCP govt's decision to shut Anna canteens
The TDP leaders decided to distribute food in front of Anna canteens that were locked by the state government in July 2019
Amaravati: Several Anna canteens had remained closed after the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) decided to refurbish the canteen. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders held a protest demanding the state government to reopen the canteens.
Anna canteens have remained shut in more than 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh. The TDP leaders decided to provide food for the people outside the closed canteens.
