In a bid to combat pollution, Uttar Pradesh district administration has installed air purifying machines in Taj Mahal. RK Rathi, executive engineer, Agra Municipal Corporation, said, "An agency has been directed to do mechanised cleaning as well as deploy two air purifying machines at the gates of Taj Mahal." The machines can purify 15 thousand cubic metre air in eight hours, and we have been using these across the city for the last four days. We are also doing mechanised cleaning like spraying water on roads and trees in the city, he added.
