A couple from Ilakal in Bagalkot, Karnataka, named their daughter Abhinandana as a tribute to Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who returned home from Pakistan on Friday. Municipal commissioner Aravinda and his wife Poornima Jamakhandi have named their newborn daughter Abhinandana. The child was born on February 11, but the naming ceremony was to be done later. Now, they decided to name their daughter after India's brave IAF warrior Abhinandan. “We are proud to name our daughter Abhinandana,” said the parents.
