BJP leader Yeddyurappa casts his vote in Shivamogga, Karnataka, for the Lok Sabha election. Second phase of polling in the state has commenced in the 14 constituencies.

The second phase of polling in Karnataka has commenced. 14 constituencies in the northern region of the state are going to polls today. This is a Lingayat-dominated region and Lingayat strongman (also BJP state president) BS Yeddyurappa’s son BY Raghavendra is contesting the Lok Sabha election from Shivamogga. As voters are set to decide Raghavendra’s fate today, Yeddyurappa was one of those early leaders to cast his vote.
