New Delhi: Big Daddy, an offshore casino in Goa, is wooing families and even children, with its grandeur and lineup of activities as it looks to positions itself as a leading gaming destination in the country.

The casino, with 'no-limits' tables, is touted as the biggest and most modern offshore gaming destination in Asia and began its operations earlier this year.

"We have tried to ensure that there is something for everyone at Big Daddy. Since the casino floor only allows those 21 and above, there is a bright kids entertainment hall stocked with books, toys and console games.

"It is a safe and secure zone for children to relax and enjoy some quality time and includes a range of exciting offerings and nanny services, for easy access to families," Narinder Punj, Chief Visionary Officer and Mentor at Big Daddy Goa, said.

With their little ones taken care of, parents can relax and enjoy their time at the casino, he added.

"With a variety of activities like supervised movie screenings, indoor video games, gaming consoles and a range of exciting offerings, the space offers as much child-friendly entertainment in one space as possible," he said.

Big Daddy Casino is built on a specially commissioned 72-metre long and 24-metre wide Panamanian vessel, and is operated by Golden Globe Hotels. The casino is split into five levels - the ground floor being the largest gaming hall with roulette tables, a host of games on the offer including electronic stadiums for those wishing to try their luck against machines.

Punj said the casino is frequented by leading personalities but declined to offer details citing privacy.

"Our aim is to give give Indian offshore gaming industry a facelift and to boost Goa's tourism economy to a very large extent," he said adding that the place is at par with casinos globally, including those in Las Vegas.
