The Indian Navy saves 17 crew members after rescuing a ship from Somali pirates

Somali pirates' attempt to use a stolen merchant ship as a base for their operations was stopped by the Indian Navy. The MV Ruen was hijacked and was about 1,400 nautical miles off the coast of India. The Navy confirmed in a statement that all 17 crew members were successfully evacuated.
