Nottingham: West Indies wicketkeeper Shai Hope said it was exciting for him to watch  his team’s fast bowlers charging in and putting the opposition batsmen under pressure. The Caribbean pacemen Oshane Thomas, Sheldon Cottrell, Andre Russell have been outstanding at the ICC World Cup 2019 so far as they bowled out Pakistan for 105 and on June 6 rattled the Australian top order. However, Australia recovered to post 288 and later won by 15 runs. After the loss, Hope, who struck a half century, spoke to the media in Nottingham.

'It is definitely a goal we can try to achieve at some point. Definitely it would be great to be the first team to cross that 500 mark and I am sure we have the batting firepower to do it,' Shai Hope said after their ICC World Cup 2019 warm-up game against New Zealand in Bristol
