LDF accuses Kasaragod UDF candidate of model code violation

LDF Kasaragod constituency secretary and MLA TV Rajesh forwarded the complaint to the chief electoral officer Dr Sajith Babu. According to the complaint, UDF candidate Rajmohan Unnithan demeaned the Supreme Court verdict of September 28 on Sabarimala. In a speech Unnithan said that the LDF government is against believers.

Chief electoral officer Teeka Ram Meena has accused NDA candidate Suresh Gopi from Thrissur of violating the model code of conduct. He had earlier stated that the issue of women entering the Sabarimala shrine cannot be used during election campaigns
