1. Use Ctrl+F 

If looking for a certain word or phrase on a lengthy web page or document, try using Ctrl+F. It helps you to find a specific word or phrase and highlights it. 

2. Digital flashcards 

Several apps such as StudyBlue, Quizlet, and Anki can help you make digital flashcards for quick revisions and memorising. These flashcards can be in the form of audio, video, graphs, or text, to maximise learning and retaining information. 

3. Use Google Translate to proofread essays

If you cannot find anyone to proofread your essay you can also use Google Translate to read it for you. Just copy and paste your content on it and click on the listen icon. It will read your essay and help you eliminate any mistakes by listening. 

4. Use time management apps

There are plenty of time management apps and tools online which can help you boost your productivity and efficiency. Apps like Asana and Trello can you build a proper schedule and help you follow it for an organised and focused study time. 

5. Use YouTube keyboard shortcuts 

You can use YouTube keyboard shortcuts to save you time.

  • Press or the spacebar to pause/play the video
  • Press  for fullscreen
  • for mute and up and down arrows to alter volume
  • Press J to rewind 10s and L to fast-forward
6. Voice-to-text 

Use voice-to-text to dictate your notes into written content by using tools like Google Docs voice typing or Apple's Dictation feature. These can help you from writing fatigue and save time. 

7. Online math tools 

If you are stuck on a complex math calculation, you can use online math tools and calculators like Desmos and Wolfram Alpha to assist you with your calculations and help you study better.
