In the seventh over of the South Africa innings during the second ODI between Australia and the Proteas, batsman Aiden Markram showed his prowess with the bat by dispatching a 150.8kmph delivery from pacer Mitchell Starc into the stands.

The left-armer bowled a quick delivery but unfortunately for him, it was in the batsman's zone as he picked it up well and slammed it into the crowd. It was a massive 95-metre hit which left the fans amazed as they exploded in excitement.

The ball was caught by a fan in the stands who celebrated for a couple of seconds before throwing the ball back for the game to be continued.

Reeza Hendricks and Heinrich Klaasen followed him back into the pavilion as Markram however, failed to get his team over the line in the chase as he was dismissed on 19 off 17 balls.

Australian bowlers took control of the chase before Proteas skipper Faf du Plessis combined with David Miller to put on a 74-run stand for the fifth wicket.

The all-rounder, Marcus Stoinis was the real star, who scalped the wickets of Heinrich Klaasen, Miller and Dale Steyn to put Australia on course of a win. Pace duo of Starc and Josh Hazlewood also picked two wickets to contribute in a winning cause for their side.
