Jakarta: Indian men’s hockey team continued their goal-scoring spree as they thrashed Sri Lanka 20-0 at the Asian Games 2018.

On Tuesday, India wrapped up their group stage with yet another massive victory. The defending champions will now face Malaysia in the semi-finals on Thursday.

In five matches at the ongoing Games, India have scored a whopping 76 goals and conceded only three, against Korea. They are on top of Pool A with 15 points.

Akashdeep Singh took full advantage of the hapless opponents as he slotted home six goals. Rupinder Pal Singh and Harmanpreet Singh scored three goals apiece.

India scored 12 field goals, converted seven of the 16 penalty corners and scored one goal through a penalty stroke. Sri Lanka failed to have even a single shot on goal while India had 46.
