Jackie Shroff is in Chennai shooting for Vijay's Thalapathy 63. According to reports, Vijay plays a footballer and coach in the film
Chennai: Actor Jackie Shroff will now be seen playing an important role in Vijay’s Thalapathy 63. The makers recently announced his inclusion on Twitter.
The producer of the film, Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment, announced the collaboration with a Tweet. She wrote, "We are happy to welcome #JackieShroff Sir on board #Thalapathy63."
In an interview with an agency, Jacky said, "It's just fab to work with Vijay, who is the son of S. A. Chandrasekhar my director from the film 'Kudrat Ka Kanoon'. So, catching up with his dad and the superstar (Vijay)."
He also talked about how the Thalapathy 63's team is treating him on the sets, "Also Atlee, (he's) a great director... I am rocking out there. They are looking after me as a child."
This is not the first time, Jackie Shroff will be doing Tamil film. His Kollywood debut was Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Aaranya Kaandam and also worked with superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan and Maayavan.
Currently, the shooting is happening across Chennai, recently Vijay was seen at the SRM University. Post that several videos and photos taken by the fans were surfaced the internet. In a video, you can also see the female lead of the film Nayanthara.

The movie will be releasing during Diwali this year. Vijay's Thalapathy 63 is reportedly a period sports drama where Vijay plays a footballer and coach named Michael. In a report published by India Today, the makers of the film have cast 16 newcomers who will be essaying the role of football players in the film. Along with Vijay and Nayanthara, the Atlee directorial also stars Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, Anandraj.
