Bengaluru: The Under 25 Club, India's largest youth forum, co-founded by Bengaluru boys, Anto Philip and Shreyans Jain, has kick-started a one-of-a-kind initiative in which the club is attempting to bring Barack Obama for their yearly summit scheduled to take place in February. While many may claim this to be long-shot in the dark, the club has been known to bring together youth icons and prominent personalities for their summits, on one platform in the past as well.

Former US President, Barack Obama, who has played a pivotal role in the life of youngsters not just in his resident country, but around the world, has had life-changing impacts through his motivational speeches. Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama too has been a woman of massive substance, with her time and again taking a stand for the little girls and women around the world. The Obama foundation has spearheaded several initiatives such as the Global Girls Alliance, which empowers girls through education, a program that has been a badge of honour for Michelle Obama. Another interesting initiative is ‘My Brother’s Keeper Alliance’, which works towards keeping violence among youth under control, and bringing about change in the life of young boys and men of colour.

As part of the initiative, the Under 25 club has weaved together a video, which holds a combination of the former President’s inspirational speeches along with several YouTube stars and public figures such as Prajakta Koli, Be YouNick, Regha Jha and many more requesting Obama to come to India and start a conversation on behalf of the youth of the country.

‘Sky is the limit’ would be a motto that best defines the Under 25 Club, which has in the past, brought together prominent figures and youth icons, for the summit - from Arnab Goswami, Mallika Dua to comedian stars like Kenny Sebastian, Abish Mathew and many more.
