Pulwama: In Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday, a terrorist from Jaish-e-Mohammed hit the bus of the CRPF jawans with explosives-laden vehicle, in which at least 39 people were martyred and several seriously injured.

The US condemned the terrorist attack and said that it has a stand with India in defeating terrorism.

US Ambassador in India, Kenneth Juster, tweeted, "The US Embassy in India strongly condemns the terrorist attack on Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir. We express condolences to the families of the martyrs." 

Russia condemned the terrorist attack and emphasised the need to face such “inhuman acts” with a decisive and collective response without any double standards.

French Ambassador in India Alexandre Ziegler said that France strongly condemns the heinous assault in Jammu and Kashmir.

Germany condemned the heinous terrorist attack and said the country is standing with India.

Australia, Turkey and the Czech Republic have also condemned the terrorist attack.

India's neighbors Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives have also expressed their solidarity and jointly resolved to face the threat of terrorism. 

UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district and said that those behind the attack must be brought under the purview of justice.

Top US lawmakers have also condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district and have said that America is standing with India to face terrorism and defeat it.
