Tamil Nadu MLA S Vetrivel, on Tuesday (October 23), said that the legislators were not taken to the resort as part of politics with respect to the 18 MLAs’ disqualification case, but they had gone there to take rest.
Chennai: On the pretext of reports that the verdict in the case of disqualification of 18 legislators is likely to be delivered soon, Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) leader TTV Dinakaran on Monday (October 22) asked his 20 legislators to stay in a resort in Courtallam town in Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli district. Talking to the media, TTV Dinakaran loyalist Vetrivel said that the legislators were not taken, but they had gone there to take rest.
