The public meeting Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha convened by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saw huge posters depicting him as Lord Rama. The entire venue turned pink in support of KCR’s brand and colour.

More than 10 lakh people are at the meeting that is considered crucial as Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) is likely to call for early elections.

Posters depicting KCR as Lord Rama were put up by his party (TRS) members.

Speculations are rife that there might be an early election in Telangana and as of now, TRS is confident that this meeting will be a huge success.

As quoted by ANI, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao said, "The turnout in this rally is going to be something that people will remember for a long time."

The entire venue and the road that leads to the venue are filled with TRS flags. Loud sound system, lights and large screens, are put up. 30 ambulances have been arranged at the venue.

However, Telangana assembly elections are scheduled to be held at the same time as that of Lok Sabha elections. “Some media channels are saying KCR will dissolve the govt. All TRS members have given me an opportunity to take a decision on the future of Telangana. I will tell you when I take a decision,” Telangana Chief Minister said at TRS rally in Ranga Reddy district, according to ANI.
