Independent candidate’s weird campaigning style has caught attention in poll-bound Telangana
Telangana candidate distributed slippers to voters. He asked them to beat him up with that if he does not work after getting elected.
Akula Hanumanth was found gifting slippers to every voter. “Beat me up with this slipper if I do not do what is expected of me after I become an MLA,” he said to people while campaigning in Korutla constituency, Jagtial district, Telangana. One of those men accompanying Hanumanth is seen carrying a box with slippers. Telangana elections will be held on December 7.
