Salem: A Class 12 girl tried to commit suicide after one of her classmates humiliated and threatened her by claiming that he had uploaded a video of hers on a porn website.

The incident happened in Salem in Tamil Nadu. The girl is currently being treated at the Salem General Hospital.

The victim was threatened by her 17-year-old classmate that he had shot her  video and put it on a porn site. He even told that the video was being circulated among her classmates.

Following this, her classmates started teasing her and taunting her calling her a “porn actress”. The news also reached the victim's brother, who went to the accused boy's house and complained about him to his parents.

But instead of taking him to task, the boy's uncle Raja (45) and cousin Ezhumalai (23) barged into the girl's house and abused her.

This shocked the victim, who tried to take her life, but was stopped by her family and was immediately admitted to the hospital.

A case has been filed and Raja and Ezhumalai have been arrested.
