MGR’s centenary celebration has already drawn flak, with AMMK and DMK leaders refusing to attend the event.
On the occasion of former chief minister M G Ramachandran's centenary celebration at YMCA grounds, state Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy was seen addressing the gathering on Sunday (September 30). People were seen walking out without showing interest in listening to his speech, and the chairs were found empty. The event has already drawn flak with Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leaders refusing to attend the celebration.
