Massive protests erupted in different parts of Kerala during the statewide dawn to dusk hartal.
Malappuram: The CPM local committee office was set on fire in Thavanoor, Malappuram district, Kerala. Many party offices of both the BJP and CPM were damaged in stone-pelting incidents. Meanwhile, several Sabarimala Karma Samithi activists took out a protest march through the streets of Kozhikode.
