President Ram Nath Kovind's 73rd birthday: PM Modi, others greet him on Twitter

President Kovind was born on October 1, 1945, in Kanpur district, Uttar Pradesh.

He is a lawyer, veteran political representative and long-time advocate of egalitarianism and integrity in Indian public life and society. He is the 14th president of India and turned 73 today.
