New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday reached Gujarat for a three-day visit where he is expected to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show at the Mahatma Mandir Exhibition cum Convention Center in Gandhinagar.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Ahmedabad.

However, Modi seems to miss his friends back home in Delhi, at least his Instagram posts say so.

Wonder who they are?

The Prime Minister recently shared a photo of some monkeys playing in the lawn of his residence. What is extremely funny about the picture is that the primates seem to be oblivious of the privilege they are getting.

While two of them were seen drinking water from an earthen pot, the third one was sitting atop a wooden stand and looking at his companions. Two more monkeys were seen goofing around on the lawn.

Sharing the picture, Modi wrote: “Look at the monkeys having fun at the ‘chabutara’: the arrangement for feeding birds”. He also added a smiley.

Modi also shared a picture of a peacock roaming around the estate, looking least bothered about the protocols and security of the place.

In the Insta story, the Prime Minister said, “Leaving for a visit to Gujarat and Maharashtra. Will see this friends at 7 LKM (Lok Kalyan Marg) after 3 days”.

Prime Minister Modi’s fascination for the wild brings out the softer side of his character.

Even as the chief minister of Gujarat, he would take time out to visits Kutch and watch migratory birds for hours on end.
