A massive fire broke out at a cloth factory situated in Mumbai’s Thane district. This is the latest incident of fire in the financial capital of India, which has put the civic authorities under the scanner.
A fire broke out at a cloth factory situated in Bhiwandi area of Thane district on Monday.
Three firefighters were rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the blaze.
No report of causalities till now.
Last week, five people, including four senior citizens, were killed after a fire broke out in a high-rise residential building located at Tilak Nagar in north-east Mumbai.
Just two days ago, fire also broke out at two places in Mumbai. Luckily there were no casualties.
Earlier in the month, a fire destroyed at least 16 godowns in the powerloom town of Bhiwandi.
