Mother and daughter found dead in Avadi, Tamil Nadu; police suspect fortune teller

The Chennai police have detained six suspects in this murder case and have also said that the key suspect is a fortune teller.

Chennai: On January 16, a woman and her three-year-old daughter were found dead inside their house at Narikurava Colony, Avadi in Tamil Nadu. The deceased have been identified as Roja (24) and her daughter Saroja (3). Their heads were crushed with a huge stone. The Chennai police began an investigation and have detained six suspects including Veerakumar (19), a fortune teller from Tamil Nadu's Katpadi.
