Mekedatu project benefits Tamil Nadu alone: DK Shivakumar

Bengaluru: In a major victory for Karnataka, the Central Water Commission (CWC) has given its conditional nod to Mekedatu drinking water project on River Cauvery in Ramanagara district on Monday. Reacting to this, Karnataka water resources minister DK Shivakumar said that the project is beneficial only to Tamil Nadu and requested support from the neighbouring state.
