The Kiki challenge introduced by the famous Canadian rapper Drake which got the whole world dancing to its beats around a moving car, has landed three Mumbai youths in hot soup.

Three youths who posted a video of them performing the Kiki challenge in front of a moving train and an ambulance had been summoned by the Vasai Railway Court in Mumbai on Thursday (9 August).

The court asked them to clean the railway station for three days as a punishment for the irresponsible act they performed on the train station platform.

The video which was shot by Shyam Sharma (24), Dhruv (23) and Nishant (20) at Western Railway's Vasai station, had gone viral on social media after it was posted a week ago. The video garnered over 2.2 million views.

According to officials, the trio was involved to spread awareness among the public to not indulge in the Kiki challenge as it is unsafe and can lead to accidents.

The official said, "The railway court ordered that the three men would clean all platforms of Vasai station from 11 am to 2 pm and then, between 3 pm and 5 pm, will create awareness among commuters of the dangers of stunts like the Kiki challenge."

He added further, "We arrested Shyam Sharma from a mall yesterday and he revealed the whereabouts of the other two, who too was arrested soon after. Sharma has previously worked in television serials while the other two have a channel on YouTube."

The accused have been taken into custody under IPC section 145B, 147, 154, 156. These sections involve punishment of up to one year in prison and a fine of Rs 500.
