Kochi: Paragon footwear warehouse caught fire suddenly and the smoke is choking the neighbourhood. It is a six-storey building near Ernakulam south railway station, Kochi, Kerala. The cause of the fire is not known yet. No casualties are reported yet. Fire force personnel are engaged in dousing the fire.
Workers from the building and nearby residents were hurriedly evacuated. Sources say that the building has been completely engulfed in flames. Road traffic and metro construction work have been stopped following the incident.
