A 12-year-old girl of Indian origin in Dubai, donated the gold cake she got as a birthday gift to help Kerala flood victims.

Pranathi Vivek has contributed Rs 19 lakh worth gold birthday cake to the Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.

The reports stated that there was half kg gold in the cake. Pranathi's father, Vivek Kallidil told Indiaglitz that Pranathi slept at peace that night after donating the money.

Pranathi is a class 8 student of Delhi Public School in Dubai. Her father Vivek is an industrialist in Dubai.

Thus, teenagers can also help rebuild Kerala, said Vivek.

Kerala is suffering from deluge with more than 300 people dead and lakhs of people homeless. More than half the State needs to be rebuilt from scratch as everything is destroyed, from houses to roads.
