A four-year-old girl from Kolkata broke her savings account and donated Rs 14,800 to Kerala relief fund.

Aparajita Saha, who was due to celebrate her fourth birthday and had saved nearly Rs 15,000 to buy a CD player, decided not to go for it. Instead, she gave her entire savings to help the flood victims of Kerala.

Aparajita of Jadavpur wanted the CD player so that she could regularly practice her moves at home after dance class. But looking at the  visuals of flood-ravaged Kerala, she decided to donate her savings.

While giving the money, Aparajita reportedly requested the authorities to give this to her sisters in Kerala.

The money was handed over through CPIM leader Biman Bose in Kolkata.

Recently, a girl from Tamil Nadu had also donated her savings (Rs 9,000) and a 12-year-old girl gifted Rs 19 lakh worth gold birthday cake for rebuilding Kerala.
